Prices,
I installed urethane bushings on a Nova SS I restored and absolutely
hated the brittle ride that resulted. There is so much weight on the
front end of a GMC, just about the only difference in ride quality you
can feel is with the zero deflection when you stop, go, or turn. The
urethane bushings are the last word when getting the slop out of your
steering. By last word, I am saying that after you replace everything
else, it is the coup de grasssy for that last little bit of slop and
wander. The are not a bandaid for other problems.
