I changed the bearing on my compressor last year as you can see from my pics that Dennis posted. I rented the puller from Autozone, which was free! You just need to leave a deposit on your credit card. However they did not have the install tool that would fit. I think I just used a socket to drive it back on.

The procedure I used was found on the internet. Check out this link for a very detailed procedure.
