When I purchased parts to redo the timing chain from Mondello last spring, I also got a new waterpump from them. I am pretty sure the pump vanes went straight out from the shaft on it. In other words it should not mater which direction it turns.

I did come across this company making kits albeit likely very expensive ones. Notice the Olds 455 has 2 belts while the Buick 455 has one. Both keep the WP turning in the original direction. Their must be some reason they could not do a single belt with the Olds.
