I'm a cheapskate, so I shop sales and price. I also put on Cooper
Discoverer H/T tires and have been VERY HAPPY.

I've worked on my coach's ride height, steering, etc. and I have no wander
and my steering is pretty tight. Still need to replace the idler arm and
relay bushings which should make it better yet. But the wife drives the
coach and she's fine with all of it, so that's a big plus.

Have a great day !!!

Mac, ...where money is a issue for some of us, I choose Cooper tires and
have been pleased.

I know that there was considerable comment on "favored"
tires for our coaches. I am traveling to New Braunfels, TX
on Sunday to bring our new buggy home to Oklahoma City.

The eBay auction showed a picture of a front tire with
lots of tread, but that is only 1 of 6 or 7. I don't
know how old the existing tires are. I wish to be fully
prepared to fork out for a new set if the existing tire
are too ancient to trust for a ~500 mile trip home.

I distinctly recall that "steel" sidewalls were really
discouraged. I'd like some brand/model recommendations.

Many thanks in advance.
