Kerrville has a Walmart
SuperCenter if one wants to stay there.

Are they still allowing stay-overs?

When this all started out, I thought it was a great idea, to allow a camper to get some rest while on the go for a night and maybe sell a couple things to the camper.

HOWEVER, the big 'Wallmart in Gurnee, which has now grown to a SUPER, used to allow overnights but now there are signs saying don't stay here or you will be towed.

has WallyMart changed recently??

LarC ( Always looking for a free overnight in a safe area since Rest Areas are now deemed dangerous. )

I stop at Walmarts all over the country. I have only had problems at 2. Grand Junction, Colorado said no but to go across the street to Sams Club, and Cortez, Colorado. In Cortez they told me that the signs are up but to ignore them or go down the street a couple of block to the old Walmart which was still owned by them. In both cases the city made them do it but there was a way around them.

When I stopped in Fernley, NV they told me "Are you kidding, we love you guys". In Roswell, MN I asked a downtown merchant where the was an RV park. They fellow told me that the only one in town was Camp Walmart.

Usually there are at least 4 or 5 other motorhomes and in one place I counted 17.

The Walmart Supercenter near me almost always has 3 or 4 motor homes parked over night year round and we are not on an Interstate.
