The whole reason for wanting to replace slides was the drawers would come open going down the road.
I contacted the manufacturer of the slides in there now (Accuride), trying to find a replacement. hah! no such luck.
So, I'm sitting here with a slide set on the desk. The more I look at it the more I realize the only problem is one small spot on the slider that has worn down. OK, how to get that back? after a few ideas it occurs to me all I need to do is HEAT a small area and reshape it!!!!
DUH
Five minutes in the garage with a torch and a Phillips screw driver, and problem solved.
Yaknow, some times we (I) just try to over think things.
