Rob,

I haven't used any RV holding tank chemicals in years. Rather, I use a
septic tank treatment, Rid-X, ocassionally. In the very hottest weather
we may still get a little odor when the tank's nearly full, but normally
we have no odor since the bacteria do a better job than "scents". No
one should object to your improving their septic tank performance --
unless it's so small they can't stand your additional load.
