Hey Dean:

I’m fairly certain that when you remove the escutcheon around the push up housing, that you’ll find a blue wire with +12 volts on it.

Typically, the ground was a zip screw to one of the aluminum spars of the roof.

Check LIVING AREA ELECTRICAL 24B- 3 in the X-7525 manual. Bath Vent Fan.
