Hi to all,

I’m new. But I joined immediately after I bought my ‘74 Eleganza SE. Glad
to see some people still use this! Mine is completely stripped out, but
insulated. I flew across the country to buy it and then drove it back
across the country. Broke down 3 times along the way, but got home with
God’s grace and a lot of good strangers. Drove a couple more short trips
and then let it sit for a few months. Now it’s having trouble running.

The dash and fuel gauge never worked (except for the “door open” light, but
now that stopped working as well) so I’m looking for help redoing all
electrical and also an engine tune up. It runs and I know it just needs
some TLC. Does everyone just do it themselves? Or are there any reliable
“go-to” places for hands-on help?

Anyways, if anyone has any leads in the Atlanta, GA area that could help,
please let me know! Or any good diagrams. I’m willing to do the work (have
a construction background, but now I work in the film industry) or I can
pay someone fairly. I just don’t want to get shocked!

Thanks for any help and happy to be part of the GMC community.
