I recently replaced my alternator and the new one makes a whirring noise that changes with engine speed (it's putting out 13.9-14.3 volts, the old one was going up to 15.5). We could hear it clicking before install, but i was at a campsite and this is the one i could order and have the next day.

What should I look out for? Should I change it out now or keep an eye on the voltages?
