And it has a pinched area to restrict the flow.... That can get plugged up with any piece of micro crud. BTDT
Try again, but this time with carburetor cleaner. Hopefully it will wash what ever it is out of there.
Don't expect to see it come out even if you capture everything in clean rags.
If you reverse the flow a couple of time it will probably soon go both ways.
