Sorry, the steam gauge is the analog guage. In aviation, for some reason, we've called them steam gauges (slang). Now days you have steam gauges or a glass panel. Funny also because the glass panel isn't even glass.

I got the message after I activated the com port in the Device Manager and following the instructions. I can always do a factory reset if necessary, as the computer is a clean slate and will only be used as a monitor in the TRIP display.

I should have said oil pressure reading on the Digi panel.

Yes, I plan to use the USB A. The WUD works well on my older laptop in USB A. I'm sure it will work on the new computer, I am just not sharp enough at this time to figure it out.
