I bought my first new one since 1988 a year or so ago - new Soul S. 2020 model, 6 miles on the clock, and the dealer wanted it off the lot (Just before the shortage hit). By the time he added in the military rebate from Kia, he got it into my budget. I've been happy with it except for oil useage which is about twice what the 2012 Soul uses... and the '12 has just under 200K miles at this point. Needs new struts which are cheap and easy to install, don't hafta remove the springs or compress them.
I left the baseplate and lights on the 2012 which I gave to our daughter. When I take the GMC I swap cars with her since the 2020 isn't towable 4 down.
