The wire trick out the drain hole was my plan C... Luckily, the #16 self
tapping bolt and a slide hammer did the trick. I am happy to have this job
done and hope I NEVER have to do that again.
Thanks everyone for your help on this. I thought I was going to have to
drop the pan and we all know what a major that is! :)
