I was shocked how easy it was by using the suggestions in this forum by connecting the old to the new and pulling them through. We just went through this a couple years back and it's just peace of mind having fresh hoses or at least know the age of them.
We also put in two shutoffs up in the engine box, for the run back to the water heater, just to have the option to shut it off if ever needed, for a leak, or whatever.
