Diff'rent strokes for Diff'rent folks! And maybe local climate making a
difference. If I lived in a snowy/salt dispensing area, I might keep full
wheel well liners in place. Here in GA, the worst phenomenon to contend
with is rain and that doesn't seem to get onto my engine (could the fact
that I seldom drive in the rain have anything to do with that?). I still
run the outer 1/2 of my wheel well liners, but only because removing the
outer 1/2 ceased to be a routine option when I installed the fender
flares. Since I'd already cut the liners in half (bit.ly/3cUxUmc) leaving
the inner half out was the logical thing to do to reduce compartment heat.
