Tom,

I don't know anything about the reference you're hunting, but I do know
that there are a couple of screws into the leading edge of the side panel
from the cross-coach dash panel. It's been a LONG time since I removed
those, but IIRC, you'll have to remove the glove compartment to have room
to manipulate a philips screwdriver horizontally to the obvious junction
between the dash and the side panel.
