Steve. Over the years. I've seen some devices that you plug in to remove odors. And leave them on. The one that I listed below. CAN NOT be used in that way. You must not be in the area being treated. I treated a GMC for someone. Had a musty/mouse small. Treated it for 1 hour. That was 3 year. Still no odors of any kind. Some use Febreze. Then you have that odor. And still no deep penetration. I've seen some of these odor products. But saw them as a solution for spot odor removal. Never used them. So can't speak on them. The ionizer can put out ozone to penetrate the walls. With our GMC's. We have a container that odors can penetrate extremely deep. I can bring two of our smaller ones that we have. To the GMCMI event in Tallahassee in March. If anyone want to use them. Let me know. Maybe Kim could have someone do a tech session on this subject. Bob Dunahugh

These GMC's can have odor from just being old. Or you bought one that the owner had covered over their smoking. We have apartment buildings, houses, and commercial/industrial warehouse rentals. So we've been down this road. An ionizer will REMOVE odor. It's an ozone generator. I found out about these from Serv Pro. The generators aren't intended for the general public. Do to the possibility of improper use. After you start one up. You must leave the area that's being treated. It has a timer. Generally 1 hour will do the job. Don't return for several hours. I'd suggest overnight at least. Or more. Then open windows. We have a small one for spaces under 1000 sq ft. Rammoth Model: 5000-OG About $80. On line. A GMC club could buy one to loan out to it's members. We used an ionizers for the final mouse small in the 78 Royale that I rebuilt 3 years ago. They small just like a lightning storm while working. $80 is cheep to solve a real odor problem for good. Bob Dunahugh
