Well the line is split at the fitting. Never removed or fiddled with these before. In a very small town with no hardware store. Is it possible to disassemble where the line enters the compression fitting, cut the line and temporarily reuse the same hardware till I can pick up a replacement fitting?

Or am I better just to inflate the bags to a good riding height and close the valves till I can repair it?
