Okay, I went and looked at this coach yesterday afternoon. It is a 1973 26' Glacier. It has been sitting in the guy's driveway for probably 5 - 8 years and hasn't run, due to bad gas, in at least 5 years. Overall, it is a complete coach with good bones. It has Alcoa wheels on it and 226/75 tires (obviously aged out - Goodyears), the front end of the body has been repainted, and most of the service work was done at Buskirk's in Michigan.

The interior is all there, and mostly original. The headliner is miraculously in good condition, but the drawer and door fronts on the cabinets have come delaminated. It has a custom made mattress in the back ( converted into a full time bed).

The owner is not sure what he wants to do with it, besides getting it out of the space next to his house. His son in law, who lives about 8 miles across town, has an RV garage, and he is thinking about trying to get it there so he can "tinker" with it, with the goal of getting it running and using it again for local type trips. The other option he mentioned would be to sell it to someone who is interested in a project.

I suggested he run it off of a gas can after going through the carburetor. He also needs to flush and bleed the brakes as they are currently inoperative. Maybe one of Jim Hupy's brake bleeders would be handy. Once he gets it to the point where it can be moved, it would probably be prudent to tow it across town to the son in law's place.

Brian said he would stay in touch and let me know what his next step is. If anyone has any additional suggestions, feel free to call him
