It is a half gal. per minute system. The 'Navy' shower does not work
because the system turns off when the flow stops. There is a
stabilization period and cold water in the line on startup. They work best
with a steady flow and can keep the same water temp for as long as the
power and flow are steady.
You could still use the 'Navy' shower concept to save water but count on
cold water at each startup.
