It seems like bath materials must have changed on the coaches depending on the model. I got access to the back side of the shower and it appears to be the vacuum formed plastic. The material is thin and smooth on both sides. There is no fiber in the plastic unlike the generator compartment and wheel wells.

I just got the GMC in October. This site has been an amazing wealth of information in letting me make repairs. This was my first posting and the help is much appreciated.
