The stock steel wheel and tire weighs about 70 pounds. I'm not thinking
another 45 pounds of bikes will make that much difference, especially if
you now have aluminum wheels, which takes off about 20 pounds.

I predict you'll wish that space under the bed was available for other
things.

I do recall a Canadian fellow who eliminated both the generator and the
propane and created a pass-through storage accessible through the hatches.
I saw it at a rally in Delaware about 9 years ago.
