Either I don't understand the problem or else I wasn't clear. Left side and right side not front and back. I carefully measured the existing holes on the left side of the door and using a very small bit drilled the left side of the panel to match. Holding the panel in place I probed the holes with and ice pick to check alignment. Then re-drilled to the correct size and secured the left side of the panel. Then drilled all new holes on the right side. Left side took 45 minutes right side was 5 minutes.
