Here's an idea. buy a set of tweezers from Harbor Freight. https://www.harborfreight.com/6-pc-fine-point-tweezer-set-93598.html $6.00

find one that will fit in the screw hole & bend one side of the pair to 90 Degrees outward, cut the other one so it is just short of the bend. Put the bent end in the screw hole, squeeze the pair together & mark at the end of the top arm.
