G'day,

Hmmmmmmm, frankly I have been considering buying one, because. . . . . .

I love working on vehicles but have had my left knee replaced, and am in pain from my right hip as I type. It is scheduled to be
replaced on September 2nd when I get back to Sydney followed by my right knee in November.

Those of that have reached old age without having any bionic parts consider your self fortunate. My knees and hips are shot because
of injuries suffered in younger years. I have no complaints about my left knee it works just fine, however, if I kneel on it I must
have something soft between the knee and the ground, especially concrete or it HURTS big time. Normally I wear a pair of knee pads.
Also I have problems getting up without having someway of using my arms to help my legs and pull myself up. To me it could boil down
to have to stop doing something I love or buying something like this creeper.

Someone provided a link for a lift you could buy a drive on lift for a GMC in the USA for $5000; unfortunately they are much more
costly in Australia; plus they take up space. Having said all this I'm going to have to think about it hard as I do have access to:

I agree that it's "over the top" for the normal able bodied mechanic..

That's hysterical.
You have to wonder what these guys are thinking?
I don't know of a single mechanic that would (or could for that matter) drop 12 large on a fancy creeper. Maybe that idiot from fast
and loud?
