Anyone that thinks these things are an investment are only fooling themselves. The fun of working on them, no matter your skill level and the joy of meeting and sharing with others of the same persuasion makes it all worth while, IMHO. We try to keep all the receipts from work on the coach but the idea of ever tallying up the total costs will never happen. I'm sure we've put out north of $10K on the diesel swap and related incidentals over the past year or so and will never recoup that amount when we sell but it never was about the money. We just pray that we'll be permitted the time to travel and meet more of the same minded folks here. That's where the investment will pay dividends.
