Is your fuel pump stock?
I would run it inline with an amp meter and see what kind of power it's pulling.
My guess is that the pump has some sort of fault and is pulling too much current, effectively burning out the circuit board over time.

Just a guess of course, but it makes sense in my head! Very Happy
