Rob,

Is this a model with the AC breaker panel behind a door across the hall from the bath module. If so, then the heater switch is a normal switch like you have on a wall except it is a double outlet with one being a switch and the other being a 120 volt plug. The converter is normally plugged into the plug.

The switch looks something like this:
