DigiPanels come in two Flavors. The "J" model parallel connects to the the OEM sender and the OEM system must be operating for that setup to work. The "J" model will not work with a dedicated sender, Just went thru this with the stretch. When Buskirk built my coach. the OEM wiring was omitted. A PO tried to make a "J" model DigiPanel work, but it did not until I ran a wire between the sender and the OEM gauge. Buskirk had installed a bourdon tube oil pressure gauge and I guess thought that the OEM gauge was unnecessary. You can get a DigiPanel that has the circuitry in it for a dedicated sender. If you have questions about the DigiPanel, email Art at digidevicesinc@gmail.com. He is very helpful.
