When you first setup it asks for a user name and password. You should choose a new name such as nancywhite and then put in a password you will remember.
Those are used to sign on to the system. The GMC MH and Pontiac are used after you get in in order to get to the GMC MH list.
It sounds from your email that you may have been entering the GMC MH and Pontiac too early in the process.
