That plastic (I believe it's ABS, right??) seems to have a tendency to yellow over time and with environmental exposure. If someone smoked in the coach, I'm sure that would have made the problem worse. Mine was taken down by the PO and painted a bright white, probably with Krylon Fusion or some other plastic paint. It looks great to this day, except for a section at the juncture of the plastic cap and the headliner, which was never painted for whatever reason. The rear cap and the AC bottom trim panels received the same treatment. All look much better than that old yellowed plastic.
