hi Johnny,

thanks, it does look better now but has a long way togo. and I concur that "the twitting" aint worth the time.

FWIW making a claim is easy, proving one is not always so easy.

yes, and AFAIAA, georgia is a common law land ("in all cases where the common law is competent to give it" ref Savings to suiters clause 1789)

Bill of Sale is the higher title on this land. a certificate of title is just that, a certificate.

this odd number project was acquired with lawful money and a BOS stating just that and with three witnesses autographs.

I appreciate your offer to assist, I may take you up one that sometime. if all goes well this coach will spend some time in Braselton when the rather large, international motorsports events happen there.

Bud, you've invested a hell of a lot of time, and the coach is looking good at this point. I wanna see it finished, bring it to Dothan next year. As to the twitting etc, it ain't worth the time.
As to the bogus numbers - which they are - consider this. What if someone stole the coach, or otherwise acquired it without a good title somewhere in the last 35 - 40 years? Given its age, I could title it tomorrow in Alabama, and I believe here (Georgia) also on the strength of a simple written bill of sale. The DMV clerk isn't gonna give a rat's rectum about the number sequence. Georgia doesn't look for correct sequence in V.I.N.s of GMCs, mine it titled under the Norris Coach build number cos that's what the numbnuts in the Florida DMV saw without opening the hatch to get the proper TZE. It's a colossal PIA to change it, so I've left it as is. The Registry has the proper TZE and that's what matters. What bugs me is, I keep thinking I've seen the damn thing someplace - Craigslist or I drove by it or something, and passed it as being way beyond my capabilities to do anything with. Kudos to you for taking it on and (eventually) getting it back on the road. If you can stand to have it looked at, send me a PM - people here will tell you, I respect confidences.
