Bill, another thought might be that the coach is much newer than that tag
would indicate, and has been swapped for an early (donor) coach vin tag in
order to not have to be smog tested as the later coaches have to be in
California. GMC did not attach the V.I.N. tags under the passenger side
engine hatch with screws. They used, and you confirm, special rivets.
