I have some thoughts but some may not agree, but heres what I feel about a stretch.
The first problem is they are expensive. It seems most take out loans to do the stretch and those coaches alwasy end up for sale, i am guessing they want to get out from under the loan.

there is extra weight added and if they are like my 26, there isn't quite enough power from that 455 as far as i am concerned. I read a note ontime about a stretch where they said they had to wait for it because it had problems making the hills.

Of course the rear overhang is a lot of concern for scraping and the additional weight on the wheel bearings cannot be over looked.

I agree that a stretch is really attractive if done right but I am unsure if the engineering of the bearings, which were designed for an OEM coach will take the stresses with all that extra bulk added on as well as the concern of maneuverability and where can you actually park it when on the road.

These are just my thoughts but I have alwasy felt bad for the coaches that were stretched and then see them for sale a few years later. Seems to take any advantage away, doesn't it.
