G'day,
In the Avion the floor sandwich (top to bottom) is:

A) 1" thick plywood is screwed to the aluminum frame

B) 3/4" thick Styrofoam insulation (I do not know if it is open or closed cell) glued to the bottom of the plywood floor between the
horizontal steel frame cross members

C) ?.?? thick aluminum sheet which is glued to the Styrofoam

Regards,
Rob M.

Thanks. I think if I was going to expend the effort and expense to retrofit insulation in the floor, I would do it the way JP showed.
