When avoiding removal and disassemblization (take that, spell check), I used to get good results from the spray can of tuner cleaner from Radio Shack, but when the industry went to electronic switches, the propellant vanished from the last half of a can and then the product vanished from Radio Shack, and then Radio Shack vanished .
Love that word... you can still get a phone from Radio Shack, but that's about it.
