Pin 6 supplies power to the remote switch hour meter and running lights. A set of contacts in relay K3 should provide this circuit. You could have an issue with K3 contacts, or the low oil pressure circuit preventing K3 from closing, or the resistor in series with the K3 coil.

The engine speed should be set for the generator line frequency (~60Hz), not to adjust the output voltage.
