Spring loaded normally on one side of awning on rear side of coach.

Get tall friend to hold awning. Then slowly extens awning out past the 4th hole. Hang onto it tight or have another friend help
hold it. It is wound using that upper arm/awining head for leverage. Just unwind it slow without letting go. Should be about 10
wraps.

If it does not snap back too hard when you close it. The it should not be too bad to unwind. Just be really careful because it
could be under a bunch of tension from a prior winding.

I am 175 pound short guy and under normAl tension i can handle the wind as long as i gave a good grip on that with a friend who has
a solid grip on tube.
