I opted for a new board from Flight Systems as opposed to having the original repaired, I'll update here when I get it installed.
I may repair the original just to have around in an emergency. Does anyone know of a direct replacement relay for k2?
There is none. That is why Duane Simmons use to take a smaller size and relay solder a bunch of wires on it and attach it to the board. After he the took the relay cover off of the old relay and covered up his work. Then it looked original. The relay coil resistance of the replacement is very important because that is not relly [owered by 12 vdc. It is powered by 30 VAC through a diode, and a series resistor with a capacitor across that for filtering. I would install the selected relay and then measure the voltage across the coil. Then modify the series resistor accordingly to get 12 VDC.
