This appears to be an old problem. I replaced my old steering box and
my coach does not wander and I no longer have to keep playing with the
steering wheel. I think Jim Bounds said it best, they coaches old like
we are and after a point they just need to be replaced. They are not
that expensive and it make a big difference.
I hope this makes sense because this is an old issue and an old problem,
bite the bullet and put in a new box
