Driving gmc up to mn? You will be passing alot of rv's going to oppisite direction! So far 10 day forecast shows little freezing. My sister is visiting next week and will be using the gmc as guest room. Right after i drop her off at airport i will be pumping in the pink antifreeze. Will not be long before the cold is here. 1st week in nov. Is deer season, i usually burn up a full take of propane in furnace keeping gmc livable that week.

I have been camping in august before where a furnace allowed us to still enjoy the weekend. This year in mid september with wind blowing one weekend the furnace was needed again. Electric blankets are fine, and electric heaters can keep some chill out. For me it is also about keeping healthy. Some cold crappy camping years ago meant a cold and caugh the next week.

My gmc is my toy, but i bought it because i live with 3 girls. My wife and daughters Never know about the weather. And my life is miserable if they are. Too hot or too cold. Had one weekend last year in june where i was out of propane, and i heard about it in the morning.
