OK, I just tried one of the bolts and it fits a 3/8"
12 point box end just beautifully.

Who can I blame this mistake on?

I know. It was Dan's fault

Thanks for the correction

Ken B.

Ken, I will take the blame this time. I just want folks to check the bolts on drivers side fairly often, for their own safety. I know some people say they have never tightened or checked them and no problems. But, it only takes a minute to check the rascals. If they have been used once, they will loosen up on you, so check them. Hey, I even check my header bolts for tightness and my transmission fluid for fullness. Why not swap socket and check torque on these little bolts while I am at it. Have seen what can happen when one of these axles comes loose.
Dan
