I think that performing a demonstration and manipulating the circumstances
and facts to get intended results isn't the smartest approach.

As I said, they vented 3 cans of the stuff and ignited with an open spark plug.

The report made the comment that most cars have spark plugs and that would be
an immediate source for the ignition. Most cars do have spark plugs, but they
are not positioned where this group of clowns put it but they didn't report that.

I would also expect that it took them several times to position the propane cans
and fire the plug too get the results they wanted.

The interior explosion with the candle was very impressive. I drive around all the time
with a lit candle in the car. And by what means they applied the HC-12A to the interior
is still a mystery from the report.

They made their point that the stuff is flammable. Duh! So is the gasoline in the
tank, the motor oil in the crankcase, the transmission fluid, the oil in the
a/c compressor, the brake fluid in your brake master cylinder, and the grease in your wheel bearings.

It was a really shoddy piece of reporting and those that did the demonstrations were
clearly biased.

The problem is that the viewers that see this will take the whole report at face value and
don't understand the entire picture. Also, as was reported, since the EPA bans the use of HC-12A in vehicle
a/c's, it must be right.

Einstein once said "Insanity is doing the same experiment over and over and expecting different
results.' I think this would also apply here. Changing the experiment to get the intended results
would fall into the same category. What does it accomplish?
