That is a pretty retarded statement to me.
For one you are taking the word "retarded" and applying it to someone who is "mentally challenged", that is pretty sick in my mind.
I have never looked at or spoke to someone who was physically and or mentally challenged and thought they were retarded. That is cruel.
Retarded is a word that gets applied to everyone at one point in time. Every morning when I climb out of the shower I look at my arm and think "that tattoo is retarded".
We all make retarded moves at one point or another and if I ever heard someone call someone who was mentally challenged a retard in front of me.... we would have words!!
Think before you post Matt, don't make me out to be the bad guy when you can apparently look at someone who is disabled and think they are retarded.

Retarded means held back. That is what it means.
Now, Can you tell me how one holds back a Video?? (maybe runs it at 28FPS?)
When You Use it to label an individual (which you did), and that individual is not physically restrained then the only thing left is to assume that you were indicating that you believed that there individuals were either held mentally back by choice or by circumstances beyond their personal control.

As I once spent a lot of personal time working with persons that in the day were labeled as "retarded", they would now be called mentally challenged. I developed an understanding of the true meaning of the situation. A number of said individuals were more capable of rational thinking than that displayed those in the clip. More than that, most had at least the understanding to not speak when he did not understand what was happening.

Ego, I still believe you were being unfair.

I strongly suggest that you search for another word to replace your use of "retarded" in such situations. Otherwise you will be misunderstood or taken as having at least a poor vocabulary.
