I was on the phone a couple of times with Dominik while he was dealing on the one near Toronto. The paint was peeling, it needed tires, all kinds of problems. The seller was asking $6500. I told Dominik to offer $4500. Because the tires alone are big bucks. The whole thing was a complete unknown. I also told him if he bought it to drive through the states as there are no repair shops on the Trans Canada Hiway, that could work on it.
Thankfully, he didn't buy it. Once he is settled here, he can zip down to Washington to look at a couple runners there.
