Heres what you do the next time it dies. Pull the hatch. Remove air cleaner top. Step on pedal hard to the floor. Look down the primarys, (the choke should be full open) and observe 2 jets of fuel squirting hard. If yes its not fuel. Have a "good' plug wire and a plug already connected together. remove one plug wire fron the dist. Install and crank. If no spark ceck and see if you have 12v at the coil. If you've never done these tests before. Do them now and learn how. And how much fuel will squirt and how strong the spark is whan its good. Hope this helps,,,,,,
