I would advise people from using used governor gears as most have seen the
life.
Plastic type component in a transmision in a motor home i going to see
higher temperature and they disintegrate.
New ones are available, so it would be best to get new.
I do not carry a spare gear as I make sure my transmission runs cooler than
most by 20 degrees.
I have seen articles in auto/truck publication eluding to this.
