Yes, that TC is interchangeable and will work with the Cad 500. However, the stall may not be right for the 500. While you have it out, I'd send your TC to Midwest Torque Converter in St. Paul Mn. for rebuilding. Tell them what engine it will be in, and that it will be in a 12,000 lb vehicle. They will also need to know the HP and Torque curve of the Cad 500. They will then build the TC to optimize those specs. JWID

Do know what stall speed is best? I would guess some where @ 2000 rpm or less with a 500.

I thought I read at one point the stock tc is @ 2600 with the 403 or 455.
