Another method to use for separating the end bell is as follows:
Remove the cover from your points and place a clean cloth over the points. This allows you room to place a small screw jack between the intake manifold and end bell. Apply some pressure to the jack and pry the corners of the end bell as it begins to separate; repeat this step using increasing pressure as needed until the end bell releases. Be careful not to apply too much pressure at once. JWID
